Weekly refresh: Google’s new offices, fundings, and companies on the move

Google keeps growing in Austin. With 1,100 employees in Austin already, Google is leasing two office spaces with plans to hire more. Google is also building a $600 million data center south of Dallas in Midlothian. [Built In Austin]

Data.world acquired Capsenta. Spun out from the University of Texas at Austin, Capsenta uses graph technologies to make complex data more business-friendly. Data.world will integrate Capsenta’s technology into its offerings. [Built In Austin]

SailPoint is moving 500 people into a new Austin HQ. The 165,000 square-foot building has wellness rooms, a large outdoor terrace and an onsite fitness center. [Austin Business Journal]

San Mateo, CA-based SiFive opened a new Austin office. The new office, located in Bee Cave, currently has 14 employees — but the company’s Austin team is set to grow significantly. [Silicon Hills News]

Q2 Holdings raised a whopping $527 million. According to SEC filings, the financial tech company will use the funds for “corporate purposes.” The publicly traded company has previously told the Austin Business Journal that it plans to make “hundreds” of hires in 2019. [Austin Business Journal]

Arrive Logistics raised $25 million to expand. Arrive Logistics is the maker of a platform that helps carriers and shippers collaborate to ensure each shipment goes smoothly. It will use the funding to grow its team and bolster its technology. [Built In Austin]

Aunt Bertha raised a $16 million Series C. The company, which helps people find social services across the country, is planning on using the fresh funds to build out its internal operations and fill roles in sales, engineering and product. [Built In Austin]

Optimizely raised a $50 million Series D to grow its team — including in Austin. The experimental platform that offers testing on websites and apps includes big-name clients like Gap, Visa and IBM. Optimizely is based in San Francisco but has a major office in Austin. Bringing the company’s funding total to $105 million, this series D will be used to grow its team. [TechCrunch]

SubjectWell raised to $10 million to match patients with clinical trials. With the new funds, SubjectWell plans to expand internationally and reach more prospective patients. [Yahoo Finance]

Enboarder raised $8 million to help with first-day-at-work jitters. The startup, which helps make the first day go smoothly for new employees, is going on a hiring spree following the fresh funding, with plans to triple its seven-person team in Austin. [Built In Austin]

Modernize announced a new chief financial officer. The Austin based company, which connects homeowners with energy-efficient contractors, has appointed Bob Bearden for the new role, in which he will be responsible for scaling growth. [Yahoo Finance]

John Perrault was announced as vice president of sales for AgileAssets. Perrault will be responsible for leading the U.S. sales teams at the transportation software company. [Press Release]
