Director of Compensation

Our RetailMeNot Team is looking for a Director of Compensation to join us at our awesome headquarters in the heart of downtown Austin. We need an individual to further develop our compensation structure and total rewards philosophy to ensure we offer best-in-class pay and benefits in the dynamic landscape of technology companies.

Who You Are

  • You're a dynamic thinker based on insights and a storyteller with data.
  • You're viewed as a trusted and essential advisor to internal teams in the U.S. and Europe
  • You provide a new approach along with a deep understanding of how compensation programs should support the talent and financial strategy of the organization
  • You have spent at least 10 years in compensation or a combination of financial/business analytics and compensation analysis, preferably in the technology industry
  • You possess advanced Excel modeling skills and the ability to dive deep on data analysis to identify and offer effective solutions
  • You apply high standards and attention to detail in the work you produce and are comfortable working in collaborative environment
  • You have experience working with Workday HCM as it relates to benefits, compensation, and planning is a plus
  • You have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related analytical discipline; CCP or similar professional designation preferred

What You'll Do

  • You'll evaluate our current global total rewards programs as well as design and develop new programs that gives RetailMeNot an advantage from both a retention and recruitment standpoint
  • You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation tools and systems
  • You will team up with People Partners in US and Europe, the Recruiting Team and business leaders by providing daily consultation on compensation issues and practices
  • You will lead and participate in project teams focusing on scalable global compensation strategy redesign and implementation, market benchmarking, and the design of short-term and long-term incentive programs that reflect our values
  • You will partner with the People Team to administer global salary structure framework, semi-annual rewards planning cycle, bonus program structure and payouts, salary increase guidelines and LTIP program
  • You'll own regulatory and compliance requirements affecting compensation and benefits programs (i.e. EEO-1 report, legislative changes)
  • You'll lead compensation market intelligence by owning the annual survey submissions (Radford and IPAS)
