Market Research Intern

As a part-time Marketing Research Intern for our recently launched Major Accounts division, you’ll be powering our team with the critical information they need to engage with our most strategic prospects. Specifically, you’ll be tasked with researching large, complex organization for the target contacts most likely to benefit from our solutions. You will also assist our inside sales team with the execution of creating direct marketing campaigns involving direct mail, phone and email. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to launch a career in sales or marketing for a growing, cutting-edge software company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging our research and sales intelligence tools to find the right contacts and ensuring our information is up to date
  • Applying established criteria to add new prospective companies to our major accounts database
  • Assisting with the execution of creative marketing campaigns, including direct mail and email
  • Helping prepare executive presentations and summary emails for our strategic accounts
  • Ensuring crucial data on our prospects and strategic customers is current, validated, and thorough


Assignment details:

  • $13-$15/hour
  • 20-30 hours/week, Monday-Friday. Flexible depending on your availability
  • April-August with possible extension or conversion to full-time

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

  • A positive attitude toward the position and its importance to the company
  • A desire to build a career in technology sales and marketing
  • Willingness to embrace challenges large and small with a dedication to achieving excellent outcomes with pride in the work
  • Comfort working with e-mail, calendars and other office technologies and a willingness to learn new technologies. Experience in Salesforce & LinkedIn is a plus
  • A good sense of design aesthetics and excellent organizational skills
  • An unapologetic drive for success, coupled with a willingness to work as hard as it takes to make it happen
  • An eagerness to learn and improve.
