Advertising Operations Coordinator

RetailMeNot is looking for an entry-level Advertising Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for managing thousands of ads accurately. Under the guidance of an Ad Ops Manager, you will support content strategy and execution of ads in assigned channels and placement types serving across multiple platforms (i.e. Email, mWeb, Desktop and Mobile App). This role will be the primary point of contact for the sales team, assisting in identifying opportunities with content optimization as well as focusing on ad troubleshooting.

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or 1- 2 years of relevant work experience
  • You're very organized, have strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • You are a master of time management with a strong ability to execute tasks on a tight deadline while handling multiple projects under limited supervision
  • You have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • You work independently and proactively, with excellent follow-through abilities
  • You have strong problem solving skills and an affinity for data-driven decision-making
  • You are results focused and able to work quickly and efficiently to meet individual and team goals while maintaining high quality standards
  • You enjoy an ever-changing landscape and growing responsibilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of Operative, Salesforce, JIRA, DFP/DCM, Tableau and other tools are a plus

What You'll Do:

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing partners to ensure execution of placements and to resolve internal inventory and reporting issues. Keep all teams updated on any issues and their business impact
  • Reliably execute placements with a high degree of accuracy using our proprietary ad server and/or DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP).
  • Leverage Salesforce and Operative One (OMS) to validate accuracy of scheduled placements against placement requests prior to publishing
  • QA live placements to validate functionality and ensure a positive, seamless customer experience; test and validate 3rd party tags if applicable
  • Placement management (3rd party discrepancies, optimization, creative updates, offer updates, etc.) throughout campaign lifetime
  • Analyze performance for assigned channels and share with management
  • Own and maintain a set of relevant reports, ensuring it is up to date and making necessary changes as required
  • Review inventory reports looking for and recommending process improvements, efficiencies and solutions for potential issues
  • Develop positive, productive working relationships with a variety of cross-functional partners
  • Identify and communicate ideas for improvement in tools, processes, customer experience and discuss changes with team or management as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
