Marketing Operations Manager

About the Position:

Rev is looking for a Marketing Operation Manager who will be responsible for managing all marketing systems and internal technology infrastructure. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to drive the critical KPIs for the Demand Generation and Sales teams.

Who we’re looking for:

You will manage marketing systems data, including administering and owning our marketing automation tool, managing Salesforce for the Demand Generation team, managing and implementing other measurement and tracking technology, managing data clean-up and augmentation efforts, and supporting team members in measuring campaign effectiveness. We would expect you to have the following:

  • A strong background in technology
  • Deep understanding of both the marketing and sales worlds and how data capture drives the analysis of funnel performance
  • Mastery of the technology used to support both marketing and sales functions including Pardot (or comparable tool) and Salesforce
  • A clear point of view on how we can make all of our processes as efficient and optimized as possible
  • Ability to be self-directed and drive innovative change

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy and systems that allow marketing to report on the performance of programs from inception to impact on the bottom line
  • Administer our marketing automation tool including email execution, webinar management, lead scoring, lead nurturing, lead processing, personalization, integration with Salesforce
  • Identify new data sources and incorporate them into our database
  • Work with Sales Operations to develop and maintain a data dictionary for all of our marketing and sales data
  • Develop, launch, and support data collection policies and processes for the Demand Generation and Sales teams from initial capture through program performance
  • Create reports and dashboards for measuring marketing campaigns in Pardot and Salesforce
  • Train the Demand Generation and Sales teams to utilize the tools and processes you’ve developed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, lead generation or demand generation
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with marketing automation tools
  • Strong analytical reasoning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build consensus, and communicate your ideas
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
  • Proficiency with Excel data modeling and analysis skills
  • Expertise in Pardot (or other marketing automation tool), Salesforce, and Google Analytics

  • Thorough and detail-oriented and works effectively across channels to increase marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and sales qualified opportunities (SQOs)
  • Metrics-driven mindset and understands the importance of tracking progress to achieve goals
  • Passion for living in the weeds while being focused on the big picture strategic goals
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter and proactive with regards to getting things done
