Product and Partner Marketing Manager

This person will own the communication of the Shopgate enterprise platform benefits and features to both internal and external stakeholders, from sales to customer success to partners and prospects, it all begins with you. You own product messaging across the board and serve as an irreplaceable hub.

What You’ll Do on a Daily Basis:

  • Leverage your strong understanding of ecommerce and high-tech industries to articulate a vision and help position Shopgate distinctly in the minds of partners and prospects
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Shopgate in the mobile market
  • Structure forward-thinking go-to-market strategies to successfully introduce new products and features to market
  • Continually revisit and analyze partnerships to determine what actionable things can be done to optimize performance moving forward and ensure regular alignment with partners regarding these opportunities
  • Be an expert on Shopgate’s products and the enterprise/mid-market ecommerce market, understanding and articulating how Shopgate solves the complex problems retailers are facing
  • Analyze the market for technology trends and actionable insights
  • Represent Shopgate at partner and industry events
  • Own competitive analysis of the Shopgate platform
  • Own buyer persona and customer lifecycles of Shopgate merchants
  • Enable the sales team to sell the product through training, demos, collateral and any other tools needed
  • Work with Marketing team to develop compelling content supporting lead generation goals
  • Help Shopgate’s clients become advocates through Customer Success Boards, customer visits, and case studies.
  • Work with Product Management to define the roadmap that balances customer needs, innovative technology trends, and competitive parity

The Right Fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BA, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Technology or related field required, MBA is a plus
  • 3+ years working with SaaS products
  • Experience supporting/managing one or more technology partner programs, ecommerce experience is preferred
  • Experience launching multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor presentations to audiences
  • Excellent people and time management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizations to drive results without formal authority

  • Demonstrated ability to execute successful projects with minimal guidance in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
