Facilities Operations Assistant

Here at RetailMeNot, we look for individuals who are passionate about what they do everyday. Our awesome Facilities team is looking to fill a Facilities Operations Assistant role based at our beautiful office in downtown Austin. This is the perfect role for someone who loves job duty diversity and being able to move around all day. The person in this role will possess excellent customer service skills, have a professional image, be highly organized and self-motivated. We are looking for an individual that is motivated to think creatively and has the ability to multitask in this role. This position will report directly into the Facilities Manager. 

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook
  • You have ability to self-manage without direct supervision
  • You have the ability communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.
  • You are flexible and can adjust to a dynamic work environment
  • You are neat, organized, able to work independently and interdependently, welcoming to the public
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience as a barista preferred, but not required (happy to train the right fit!) 

What You'll Do:

  • You will manage the RetailMeNot Welcome Desk and Coffee Bar throughout the day
  • You present a professional, courteous first contact to all clients, vendors, board members, staff, media, etc. – by phone, in person, and email
  • You will assist with any meetings that are on the 6th floor
  • You will handle and maintain the inventory and budget for the coffee bar
  • You work closely with the facilities team on the day to day maintenance of all five floors
  • You maintain and evaluate relationships with third party vendors for various onsite operations
  • You are responsible for maintaining and planning team projects
  • Assist with event planning and implementation.
  • Ability to work the very occasional weekend or evening
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Constant standing/walking
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs
