IT Compliance Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

ClearDATA is hiring a IT Compliance Analyst to join our growing Privacy & Compliance team. What you’ll do :

This role will report to the Director of Compliance, Privacy & Security. You will assess the security and privacy compliance of the internal organization and operations, while supporting the continuous improvement of the corporate compliance posture.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Information Systems or related field required
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in assessing internal operations against recognized security frameworks/standards (ISO 27001/2, NIST, HITRUST, etc.)
  • ISO 27001 or IIA Certified Internal Auditor certification. Equivalent certifications may be substituted, upon validation
  • Firm understanding of internal auditing standards (e.g., IIA, ISACA)
  • Ability to translate compliance controls to documented policies and procedures for the business
  • Interest in learning security and compliance regulations
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to create and execute audit plans
  • Project management experience with the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple areas of the business
  • Self-starter who works well individually or on teams
  • Detail-oriented nature to identify problem areas and analyze data; ability to derive commensurate findings and recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral skills with ability to present technical information to senior management
  • Desire to achieve CISA certification within the first 12 months of employment (if not already certified)

  • Proficient in preparing reports and presentations using MS Office applications
