Product Manager

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess market requirements, investigate new technologies, develop recommendations for technical product direction, and establish marketing and pricing plans and strategies
  • Dream, Drive and Launch software releases for our Case Management system using Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Champion customer experience, prioritize and grooms the product backlog, and assigns business values as the product owner
  • Closely monitor market and customer needs and work within a cross-functional environment to translate into existing product enhancements and new product introductions
  • Responsible for knowing the customer environment from a product and technical perspective, understanding their business applications and aligning assigned products with their business goals and objectives
  • Utilize strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills through regular interaction with customers, partners, global sales and executive management

Requirements:

  • Five (5) or more years of experience managing a successful system software-based product, ideally with experience in virtualization and software as service offerings
  • Proven track record of defining and managing new product initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of the satellite communications technology
  • Strong people influencing skills
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills through regular interaction with customers, partners, global sales and executive management.
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Solid working knowledge of agile design/development processes, SaaS platforms, and requirements documentation
  • MBA Preferred
