Receiving and Replenishment Lead

Position Overview:
The Receiving & Replenishment Lead is a vital part of the Distribution Center. Reporting to the Receiving Manager, the Receiving & Replenishment Lead’s main priority is to monitor and manage the inbound process for all inventory coming into the Distribution Center and ensure inventory is available for all Fulfillment teams. The Receiving & Replenishment Lead will supervise and coordinate all team members and activities involved with inbound inventory.
• Directly responsible for Receiving Specialist, Receiving Floor Assistant and Associates
• Responsible for hiring, developing, evaluating and coaching team members in best practices of company internal procedures
• Creates and maintains a positive environment and encourages growth and development
• Ensure that priorities are communicated to team members and expectations are met
• Enforces company and departmental policies and verifies consistent application
• Keeps company objectives top of mind in leadership and decision-making
Process Management
• Leads the planning and execution of daily replenishments, monthly redistribution efforts and other projects as necessary
• Oversees the receipt and putaway of all inventory into the Distribution Center while ensuring materials are staged for accurate counting and quality control inspection
• Track and analyze internal replenishment and rebalance performance against benchmarks; create new analyses and metrics when appropriate
• Develop and maintain metric-based reporting structures
• Works with the Receiving Specialist to manage the slotting of all SKUs in the Distribution Center
• Verifies that perpetual inventory counts accurately reflect physical receipts and resolves discrepancies with necessary departments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinates new product reviews with Technical Development department to understand new production methods and stone/metal ranges to maintain and improve quality control inspection protocols
• Facilitates efficient operations through strong partnerships with other departments, such as IT, Planning & Allocation, Field Operations, DC Fulfillment and Returns
• Drives cross-functional process improvements to support quality, productivity and cost goals
• Encourages communication and teamwork among associates
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• College degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of process management experience, preferably within Distribution
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery and reprioritize based on evolving business needs
• Intermediate Excel skills and ability to quickly learn computer systems
• A confident, self-starting attitude with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand and/or walk for duration of shift
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• A strong ability to build cross functional partnerships and work collaboratively
• A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas

All of them! I just finished a new warehouse management system implementation and we have a roadmap full of system investments slated for 2018, all of which are critical to fuel our continued success! I love that I get exposure to ALL systems at Kendra Scott, including ERP, POS, WMS, & E-comm- experience I'd be hard pressed to gain anywhere else!
